Useful products that will make hand laid track and turnouts easier to build with fidelity to prototype appearance.
Irish Tracklayer is developing a line of ready to install, highly detailed turnouts. If you
would like participate is the develpoment of these turnouts, email me at john@irishtracklayer.com. At present, we are working on number 5, 6 and 8 turnouts. The turnouts include tie plates designed around the points and frogs of Right-O
Way, American Switch and Signal and Old Pullman parts. We are offering this ground floor opprotunity for the nominal sum of $20.00 to $25.00 per turnout. (Includes laser cut ties and Strathmore board tie plates)
In addition an assortment of brass casting are being offered to assist the model builder in creating detailed diesel and steam locomotives, freight and passenger cars.
Searchlight and semaphore signals are
being redesigned to better connect with all forms of signal operating systems. Individual parts will not be offered, only built up units. An ordering matrix will be presented for custom built signals. All signals will be designed for drop in from the top of the layout.
The semaphore development includes adding a lower quadrant blade to the
line and using a servo motor to control blade position and speed.
A new dwarf signal is now available. The masters are at the foundry and should be in production mid November.
Lighting for the searchlights will include three LED's on a single board, giving the three colors from the three separate LED's.
Your trackwork would not be complete without these Rail Anchors "Anti Creepers". The railroads used these anchors to keep the rail from sliding on the tie or the shifting of tie .
We have placed our main product (trackwork)
all in one easy to use location. These products will be
our specialty.
Our Product Index is the first part of the web site that we are working on and is still under construction.
